He gave me some ol' fashioned text book lovin'.

Double the pleasure, double the fun!
I am doubling your What I Wore Today eye-candy quota for the day because I am such a horrid blogger.

But guys, I'm packing! Packing. For Vancouver. In three days. Three. Days.

All thrifted.

Old navy top, Grandpa's old belt, thrifted and altered shorts, H&M shades, mystery-origin sandals and my necklace made by Caroline!

And now I sleep.
Last 2 days of work... !!

This devotion is devoid and defunked.

Why. Why. Why can't every day be a vacation?

The thing they don't tell you about studying at UBC Vancouver is: you miss the best part of the year. Summer in Vancouver. Maybe I was just in such fantastic company that anywhere would have done. I like to think not. And I like to think that I'm definitely spending next Summer in Vancouver. Osoyoos is gorgeous and hot and dryyy... but, sigh.

On Erin: hat from a thrift store in North Vancouver.
On Cyril: shades that were my Dad's.

Helloooo Swiss men.

On Olivier: should he read this blog and like to share the origins of his beautiful striped shirt, well... I just might have to go buy one for Cyril.

Perfect accessory: cupcake.

On Erin: thrifted & altered dress, thrifted belt, long necklace is thrifted and other necklace was made by Caroline!

Somebody come visit me at the Osoyoos Museum, please. Please? I can give you a tour. We can go for ice cream after. Or I can make you some cake. Or cookies. Or dinner. And we can go to the beach. Or on my boat. Yeah...

Willy Wonka. Willy Wonka. The amazing chocolatier.

50th post. Nicely done.

I went on a wee vacation with the family, south to America, this past weekend. It's been a yearly thing for those that are able to go and I hadn't for at least 5, 6, 7? years so the highlights of Spokane in my mind up 'til this trip were the pool at the hotel, the hotel and Cyrus O'Leary's restaurant. This time I fell in love with the brick.

It was gorgeously sunny & warm. Some of the things I wore.

UO top, Target skirt (AA replica!), thrifted belt, watch & locket were gifts from my darling Granny.

AA skirt & tee, thrifted belt, H&M flats & shades, necklace made by Caroline (who I miss a lot!)

Know who else I miss a lot? Cyril.
My Swiss guy has been back in the motherland for 23 days now! Cyril, I think that's enough now. Canada wants you back. Oh and me too, just a little bit.

And replay and replay and replay.

A little something before I turn in.
So's ya still know I'm alive.

(Am just settling down after moving back home for the summer.)

Our Version of a Wicked Dance Party

Cyril & Caroline
(Of the famous shoe-giver/jewelry-maker variety of Caroline!)
I have added a new "made by Caroline" tag, so you can check out her creations more easily.

Cyril & I.

We are silly people.

On him: shirt: thrifted, jeans: H&M.
Oh her: dress: thrifted, tights: Coop (of Switzerland). I'm also wearing a necklace made by Caroline, but I'm too busy groovin' in this photo for modeling.

The Cs are possibly going to scold me for this.

Has anyone seen "Heavenly Creatures" and want to help me write a paper on it?

Just a wee update from me before I sign off for the night, guiiilty because I haven't laid a brain cell on my Film Studies paper OR German grammar yet and they are both up on Tuesday. Gosh.

I thought I should stop torturing you with that nasty teaser I left for you on my last post. Anyway, the bangin' outfit is this:

Bodysuit (which come with a little anecdote, but that's for another day!), skirt, belt & gold necklaces: thrifted, white necklace: a Caroline original!, tights: H&M.

C'est bangin', non?

Even more bangin': the Great Lake Swimmers concert a few weeks ago. For realz, aaamazing. I really, really enjoyed it.

There's a surprise coming up in the next post. Yeah, that's right. I did it. Left you hanging once again!

Ah non, monsieur; dites pas la vérité.

I thought I should spice up my outfit pictures a bit. With jumps.
My keyboard is set to French, so that actually took me a while to type. As did that. And that.

Shirt: AA, pants: H&M, shoes: thrifted, gold chain: gift from my mum, beaded necklace: MADE BY CAROLINE.

Shirt: family reunion 1987 (represent!), cardi: H&M, jeans: Tati, belt: thrifted, necklace: gift from Myriame.

I think we're due for a What He Wore Today post.
And I am due for plus de travail sur mon dissertation sur La Leçon. Que ça soit fini!

Whilst I attempt to sound somewhat intelligent in French, go find some yummies at Mean Missus Mustard!

Can you feel the motion motion commotion?

Part I - Ink Face

Fingers as place markers for notes in dark theatres seemed like a stroke of genius until...

I touched my face in said dark theatre and got home an hour later looking like this.
Now I always use pencil.

Part II - Lounge About

Part III - Pretty Loo

Sweaters & shirt: thrifted, skirt: H&M, boots: Ebay.

Part IV - Out Of The Loo

Did somebody say "Captain Morgan Spiced Rum and Eggnog"?

Two (of many) things I love: Christmas & shoes.

New(old) shoes given to me by our sweet new friend. Who, two weeks after meeting, moved away.

The heel was too high for her, so she gave them to me. Thanks, dear!

Cardi: H&M, shirt: thrifted, skirt: thrifted, tights: H&M, necklace: gift from Cyril's mum, shoes: gift from Caroline.

Blouse: thrifted, skirt: Le Chateau, tights: H&M, shoes: gift from Caroline, belt: was my Grandpa's, necklace: thrifted.
Yeah it was cold.

Same as above, but with my beloved thrifted sweater/coat and scarf from Italy.

Coat: Zara, (new $3)dress: thrifted, tights: H&M, shoes: thrifted, scarf: market in Italy.
PS - I got my hair cut.

I should be studying German. Luckily I have a Swiss boy toy der fliessiend Deutsch spricht.
