Ich kann sagen was ich will.

Vancouver is getting cold.
C and I bought a tiny heater just in time.

UO top, AA jeans, shoes from Caroline, necklaces are thrifted and from my Granny & her ring.
And I made that teacup! I miss doing pottery.

What are you dressing up as for Halloween?! I'm dying to know.
This year C and I are going to (at least) two parties to catch up on the
zero-attendance-at-parties last year.

Fuzz can be hard to deal with. I don't mean the police.

I do realise that Thanksgiving was two weeks ago.
Call me tardy. Call me lazy. Call me BUSY WITH MIDTERMS THANK YOU.

Anyway, two weeks ago, I visited my family for Thanksgiving.

It had froze the night before I arrived, and to save the pipes from bursting, the orchardists had to leave their irrigation on, resulting in: magic.

In true English style, fried garden tomatoes for breakfast.
And my brother's pumpkin pie; lovingly made from scratch. (We didn't have it for breakfast. At least I didn't)

I miss them. Only two months to Christmas, I suppose.

(My hair is in pin-curls, tucked under my Granny's scarf, waiting to be slept on. I'm really excited to see how they will turn out! Show-and-tell, not to worry.)

Inside the warm, warm fire.

Procrastination creates beautiful things. Not-as-important-as-what-is-being-avoided things; possibly. But so worth it.

thrifted 50s cardigan (my new favorite), AA tights & dress, assorted necklaces, thrifted heels (which I did not wear all day; let's be clear on that)

I'm eating egg & bran porridge in preparation for my 5hr stint at the library. Does "egg & bran porridge" or "5hr stint at the library" sound more disgusting? Library. Yeah.

Actually the egg porridge is delicious. Weirdly interested? Find it here. (I added my own bran 'cause I'm just such a hippie. What.)

Sleep on a sea of predicament

I'm currently being whipped, big time, by school.

I've hardly noticed October waltz by, my favorite month of the year, and I'm afraid that with fast-approaching November will come: Winter. And then we will have rain and snow and sludge and cold and gloom until April.

I'm freaking.
There's nothing I can do about it; school has a steady Erin-whipping schedule until AU MOINS October 30. And I'm not even whipping school back.

Sometimes I feel like I'm in over my head. 3 Lit courses at once was a bad, bad, bad, BAAAD idea.

Reisen macht munter

Cyril and I went for a picnic a few weeks ago when it was warm enough out to go for a picnic.
Living a five-minute walk from the beach is living in glory. Glory.

Caprese salad with broccoli.

I am currently digesting on my parents' couch.
My mum puttering in the kitchen. My little brother listening to System of a Down in the dining room. Ah, family <3
